Trouble Keeping Up

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

Well as usual, I’m having trouble keeping up with the site.  I’m extremely busy balanacing RockSAT, USLI, and classes right now.  Hopefully once the USLI competition launch takes place things will be a lot smoother and I’ll have more time.  (maybe)

Word on the street is I’ll be working out at the observatory again soon. Which means only one thing.  Nights without sleep.  Horray!

I Cannot Stop Laughing

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

I remember having my wisdom teeth taken out.  My mom drove me home from the dentist and all I remember thinking was all of the cars we were by were race cars.  However, I maintained my composure and just sat there loopy as ever.

The house covered in snow

Well, the last site layout was just too much.  A huge eyesore I decided.  This layout however, I like a lot.   One issue is, it will require a fair amount of restructure of how I made the posts, etc.   I’m not too worried about the work required, I’m just worried about being so busy that it will take too long for me to get it all back in order.  Oh well, busy life means a lack of updates/structure I guess.

Another Build Day

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

USLI rocket build is in full swing.  Today I will be assisting the team members in constructing both the scale (and full scale) rocket.

I ran my first Road Course Legends Cup race.  I must say, that sure is interesting having to keep that small “car” on the track.  It sure doesn’t help that I’m still learning how to set up cars.

There are now setups posted under simRacing.  A friend and fellow racer of mine, will be posting our setups in a semi-organized fashion there.  This is for easy file sharing between us and my dad.

On a final note, I’m loving my PS3.  The Media server works fantastic.  I’m running PS3 Media Server.  The house server which is hosting this program and files cannot properly transcode the video files.  So that is a shame.  I’m also getting some terrible, terrible static(?) through my speakers when I’m trying to play a PS3 game, or music.  I believe a nicer stereo system is the next “big” purchase for me.
